OVERVIEW MFP envisions to deliver an integrated plan across Consumer and Marketplace for retail sales, inventory and buys for Nike and our partners, so that guiding business & operation plan. The leader in this role is expected to lead his/her own team, working closely with broader Demand & Supply Planning team and Finance team to achieve this goal. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive end-to-end Merchandising Financial Plan which considers how much consumer demand NIKE wants to capture from long range to in-season while balance RSV, Buy and Inventory. Inform the assortment framework and buy/sell-in decisions in the pre-season.Inform GC target setting process and financial forecast in early gate with elevated plan reconciliation cross DSM & Finance.Elevate in-season performance management cross marketplace units to drive productive conversation and key gate decision-making to hit business goal.Co-create MFP planning capability with global powered by digitalization platform to standardize and elevate speed & efficiency.QUALIFICATIONS: Minimum 12 years proven experience in Planning or FinanceDeep understanding or experience across wholesale and direct business in China Market in retail/consumer goods industry.Working knowledge of Retail Metrics (Sales, Inventory, Sell thru, Weeks of Supply, Trend based forecasting, revenue and margin), and the ability to develop scenario plans to drive enterprise decisions.Strong in defining and resolving conflicting issuesAbility to influence, negotiate, prioritize and focus in the matrix organizationProven leadership in driving people development and fostering effective teamworkExperience in developing digitalized planning capability is a plus. |
